ABOUT THE INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM of the Narxoz University
High quality and affordable education is the No. 1 priority of the Narxoz University Development Strategy for 2030. To achieve this goal, an internal quality management system developed, which covers both academic and non-academic areas of activity. The main attention is paid to ensuring the quality of educational programs at all levels of education (bachelor programs, master program, and doctoral studies).
The University has developed policies and mechanisms for effective internal quality assurance. The organizational structure of the University has nine Committees under the Academic Council, among them Committee for Academic Quality, and in each School there are Committees for Quality Assurance. The President has an Academic Quality Advisor.
The university also turns to external quality expertise; it undergoes institutional and specialized accreditation in national and foreign QA agencies and participates in the annual ranking of educational programs of Kazakhstani universities, which conducted by the "Atameken" National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
The University community (students, teachers and administrative staff) as well as alumni, employers, corporate partners are also involved in this process.

Schools’ Quality Assurance Commissions
By order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 18, 2020 No.
207, a requirement to form a Quality Assurance Commissions based on the Schools / colleges.
The main tasks of the Quality Commissions are to develop, coordinate, monitor and analyze activities in
terms of managing and ensuring the quality of educational services.
The Quality Assurance Commission consists of faculty, students, undergraduates, doctoral students and
representatives of corporate partners.
The purpose of the Commission's work is to implement and improve the University's Internal Quality
Assurance Policy within the Graduate School and Postgraduate Programs.
The Academic Quality Committee under the Academic Council carries out implementation of the
University’s policy in the field of quality assurance and coordination.
