RULES FOR ADMISSION TO THE MASTER'S PROGRAM

According to the standard rules for admission to educational organizations that implement educational programs of postgraduate education, approved by the order of the Minister of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan from October 31, 2018 #600, applications for Master's, Doctoral, Residency programs and Scientific Organizations can be submitted to the Admission Office of universities and scientific organizations.
Important dates:
Application dates
Summer admission: from June 1 to July 8 of the calendar year in the information system of the National Testing Center;
Winter admission: from November 1 to November 18 of the calendar year in
the information system of the National Testing Center.
Comprehensive test dates
Summer admission: from July 20 to August 10.
Winter admission: from November 19 to December 11.
Awarding of educational grants
Summer admission: from 11 to 15 August.
Winter admission: until December 14.
Enrollment deadline
Summer admission: from 10 to 28 August.
Winter admission: from December 26 to January 10.

Attention!

Persons who have at least five years of experience in a leadership position in accordance with the register of positions of political and administrative civil servants, the register of positions of civil servants in relevant industries or at least ten years of experience in the relevant profile of a specialized master's degree educational program are enrolled on a paid basis based on the results of an interview conducted admissions committees of higher and postgraduate education organizations.

Threshold scores:
Masters Programs in Kazakh or Russian( 70-point scale)

At least 30 points, including:

According to the profile of the group of educational programs:
with the choice of one correct answer – at least 7 points,
with the choice of one or more correct answers – at least 7 points
State grant for Masters programs in Kazakh or Russian (150-point scale)

At least 75 points, including:
Foreign language – at least 25 points,

According to the profile of the group of educational programs:
with the choice of one correct answer – at least 7 points,
with the choice of one or more correct answers – at least 7 points,
on the test to determine readiness to study – at least 7 points
The format of the Comprehensive Test:
For Masters programs in Kazakh or Russian

Comprehensive testing:

- Language test (English, French, German optional);
- test on the profile of a group of educational programs;
- test to determine readiness to study in Kazakh or Russian;
For a Masters programs in English

Comprehensive testing:

- test on the profile of a group of educational programs in English;
- test to determine readiness to study in Kazakh or Russian or English (optional);
If you have a Language Test certificate and/or the GRE test:

-- Applicants with Language test certificates (English, French, German) are awarded 50 points.

Subjects of the Comprehensive test for Masters programs in Kazakh or Russian:
Applicants for the Masters Program submit the following documents to the Educational Programs of Higher and (or) Postgraduate Education (EPHP) and (or) through the information system:

  1. application form, according to the rules of Comprehensive Testing, approved by the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan from May 8, 2019 #190 addressed to the Head of the Organization
  2. Document on Higher Education (master copy to be submitted to the Admissions Office)
  3. Copy of ID
  4. 6 copies of 3x4 sized photos
  5. Medical certificate 075 Y approved by the order of the acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan from November 23, 2010 №907 "On Approval of Forms of Primary Medical Documentation of Healthcare Organizations"
  6. Copy of the International Certificate on Language proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference (if any)
  7. List of Scientific and Methodological works
  8. Employment document
  9. Receipt of payment for Comprehensive Testing
Applicants for the State Educational Grant for Masters programs submit the following documents to the Admission Committee of the Educational Programs of Higher and (or) Postgraduate Education (EPHP):

  1. Application form
  2. Document on Higher Education (if the documents are submitted to the Admissions Committee of the EPHP
  3. Certificate with the results of the Comprehensive Test (if the documents are submitted to the Admissions Committee of the EPHP
  4. Medical certificate 075Y approved by the order of the acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan from November 23, 2010 №907 "On Approval of Forms of Primary Medical Documentation of Healthcare Organizations" (registered in the Register of State Registration of Regulatory Legal Acts №6697);
  5. Copy of ID

Applicants must indicate the group of educational programs and 3 Educational Programs of Higher and (or) Postgraduate Education in the application form.
